Ulrik froze in place when he realized the male had spotted him. There was a lump in his throat, and his hands were clenched to the point of white knuckles. If anything violent occurred between Ulrik and the two Angels, then an all out war could start. That was the last thing the Demon wanted to be blamed for.

His eyes went narrow. They just ignored him, and began to walk away. Ulrik was disgusted by them. Angels wanted the human world to be pure, but did nothing that actually helped. They were lazy-*ss hypocrites as far as Ulrik could tell. The demonic dane felt his face heat up, and his fists started shaking with anger. He couldn't take their ignorance.

Before he knew it, Ulrik was lashing out at them. He couldn't help it. Impulse and instinct got the better of him. His own shadow three paces ahead of him, acting on it's own. They both made a b-line for the male Angel. He was pissed off at his arrogance, he should've known not to show his back to a demon.

Kaito could sense the violent aura and the deadly killer intent. Turning his head, his smile faded instantly as his eyes seemed to grow more intent. His gaze setting on the shadows and seeing Ulrik. 'So this is their move.' Kaito thought. Grabbing hold of Kyoka's arm, he pushed her behind him, his hands going out in front of him as a gust of wind traveled down the street and to Ulrik.

It was not his choice to break the truce, but he couldn't let a demon attack him. With a smile, Kaito raised his head as he stared at the demon. "I see your choice is clear." Kaito spoke, faking a smile. Now he was sure that all hell would break loose.

Kyoka gasped, her eyes widening as she saw the two shadows. She had never seen battle before, that was her twin's duty. But now, how could she stand by. Looking around, feeling the rain run down her cheek, Kyoka knew what she had to do. Shutting her eyes tightly, the female angel raised up her hands. The water that had once been rushing like a small river down to the sewer paused and raised up like a wall.

Opening her eyes, Kyoka panicked. What if the humans saw this? Letting her hands fall instantly, the water rushed down and began to collect in the drains once more. Taking a few steps back, she bumped into the nearby building, hoping that Kaito would be able to defend them both. 'I have to have faith in him.' She thought, clutching her chest.

Cvetka's eyes trailed away from the two eventually, brushing off what she felt as some sort of hallucination from lack of sleep or just her slowly going crazy from the Croatian male's stormy night antics. Or it could've just been her imagination acting up and playing tricks on her, as it done before from time to time. She walked over to the bed where a small Calico cat lay, deciding to take a small nap to save her sanity.

The Slovenian girl lay on the bed for a few moments with her eyes closed, feeling sleep slowly take a hold of her but the feeling faded away too quickly and a maleficant feeling begin to build up inside of her, sending chills down her spine. She sat up and yanked the covers and blanket out from under the cat, who gave a small hiss of disapproval, pulling them around her to combat the cold that had suddenly flooded her room.

How the hell had this happened? Looking towards the window, she thought back to the dark haired man and woman she had seen outside below her apartment. It couldn't have been them. They were normal humans like her, nothing more and nothing less. Besides, how would any of thier actions affect her in any way? They were total strangers and this was only the first time she'd seen them. Cvetka shook her head, as if she was trying to kil the thought that were lingering there. As she sighed to herself, she failed to notice the frost that had developed along the hem of the covers and blanket she had gripped tightly.
