The angels and demons keep their wings folded tightly agianst their backs to be hidden under their clothes. Their clothes have unnoticeable slits in them though for the wings to come out of and retract so they don't end up ripping their clothes. ~RANKS FOR ANGELS AND DEMONS/FALLEN ANGELS~ Angels: Chastity - Temperence - Charity - Kyoka Diligence - Patience - Kaito Kindness - Alice Humility - Cvetka Demons/Fallen Angels:Lust - Gluttony - Greed - Sloth - Ulrik, Matt Wrath - Envy - Pride - Chang, Dražen ~POWERS AND WEAPONS~ (For those of you who don't know, the powers are elemental and the weapons are used to control them. Days like this always left Cvetka cold. Although the air and gentle zephyr that night was warm and the soft rain drops were a neutral temperature, she didn’t like it for two reasons; Dražen and the Truce.
Slow rainy days like this had predicted stormy nights that brought lightning in the past years, and that always riled up the Croatian boy, making him laugh like a maniac at night whenever the thunder clapped, swelled his ego whenever they happened to cross paths, and made him braver when he started a fight. That was all unnecessary trouble she could’ve gone without, but the Big Man upstairs didn’t seem to have any intention of stopping this.
Besides that, the Truce was also starting to cause unnecessary chaos for her. The Truce to heavenly and demonic beings was what vacations were to humans, making them rested, relaxed, and enhancing their beauty just a bit. She was no angel, she knew that; she was a Nephilim, a fact that came as a surprise to her once she figured it out, but because of the fact that she still was a partially heavenly creature anything that affected the angels slightly affected her. It was an angelic tradition for the Truce to last eighteen days. In Heaven (if it really existed), it was the most divine number: a life-affirming tally of two sevens (the archangels and cardinal virtues), balanced with the warning of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. This number had come to mean life and peace throughout some cultures, but that was slowly coming to an end. The extra shine that was brought to Cvetka’s hair was going away; her grey hues were starting to dull now and her skin seemed to be going back to that pasty white color rather than the gentle milky shade it was before. Those damned angels and demons need to get their shit together.
That was what she told herself everyday, but what was there to prove their existence? Nothing at all. Perhaps those little ice-related incidents that surrounded her were just coincidences and the truth about angels, demons, and the Big Boss upstairs and downstairs were that they didn’t exist. After all, how was it plausible that a being great enough bring about Creation existed yet didn’t make himself known? And how could someone such as the Devil exist yet not have this sinful world in his hands already? Those types of thoughts always flooded her mind, yet nothing has been able to give her an answer.
Sighing, she brought her knees up to her chest, curled her arms around them and rested her chin on them. From the corner of her eye, she see the faint flash of lightning in the distance. Closing her eyes and sinking even further behind her arms and curled up legs, she groaned.
She hated rainy days.

Not sure what to post, so I'll just have Kyoka waiting for a mission to go to Earth or something.
With a smile, the young angel walked out into the sunlight of the garden. Her hazel eyes looking around before she heard a small sound nearby. "Found you~" She cooed happily, picking up the small kitten. Sitting down and placing the small cat in her violet colored skirt, she wondered when she would be able to go to the human world again. It had been such a long time and she wanted to stretch her wings out and get some fresh air. But the thoughts of what the human world had become made her lips turn down. The world of the humans wasn't as pure as it once was and Kyoka had a feeling that the darkness in the depths was stirring again. That the demons were creeping out through the cracks and coming out to cause chaos. Looking down into the kittens eyes, Kyo let out a sigh, knowing that there would have to be a battle to decide the fate of Earth. Looking up at a golden cloud, Kyoka wondered if He would really allow for everything to be destroyed. Kyoka shut her eyes, putting her hand over her heart. If it was up to her, she would do her will, but to kill innocent human lives was not something she wanted. It wasn't in her to kill. She was a healer and wanted to help those. Perhaps even vanquish the darkness and replace it with a healing light. 'There must be something I can do.' She thought.

| It always started out with just a small contented smile and grew into a smirk from the moment he first caught sight of it. He would let a few giggles escape past his lips before it turned into full blown laughter racking the Croatian’s body as the lightning flashed every so often. It didn’t matter how close or far away it struck the land; it always made him feel happy and energized, like he was invincible to the pathetic humans that walked this planet and their little toys they called weapons. He clutched his sides, fingers digging into the skin as he slumped over onto the floor. The lightning had begun to fade away, and in turn so did the laughter until it turned into just a few breathless chuckles but he felt energized. As Dražen slowly regained his breath, he glanced over at the wall across the room, knowing that his laughter annoyed those in the neighboring apartments before his gaze slid up to the ceiling. A smirk came across his face, knowing full well that it annoyed a certain Slovenian girl who lived above him. Dražen rolled over onto his back, continuing to stare up at the ceiling while imagining what he would do tomorrow. All he knew for sure was that he was going to give her Hell. - OOC:

Could Alice be the Kindness angel? I think it kinda suits her. And it doesn't requite her not to lose her temper, heh. ^^"
Also her weapon will be her wand. You know, in the traditional Britannia Angel style.
Alice flexed her pure white wings. She knew it was nearly time and she was dreading it. She could spread her kindness for miles but, if she came across someone who irritated her, she could lose her temper. Those who irritated her were usually demons or arrogant humans. She was ready to go down to Earth now - she knew the truce was at end. However, she would have to wait for an Archangel to give her orders. She sighed. They were always the same - she didn't see why she couldn't just go an do them without waiting for them to tell her. Shrugging, remembering that it was God's Will that she waited, she lifted her saucer with her cup of tea. Taking a sip, she smiled. She really did like tea. There was a human brand she liked to drink whilst she was on Earth but Heaven's tea was just angelic. She grinned at the joke and relaxed more. She only needed to wait a little more... |

| Alfred knew who his parents were. His father had been an angel - he wasn't sure which level. His mother had been human. They loved each other dearly, he had been told. But, after his father had managed to get his mother pregnant, he was expelled from Heaven and made a fallen angel. Then he had gone crazy and killed his former lover. Luckily, Alfred had already been born by then and he was taken in by the church who knew everything about him. Or so he'd been told. He had grown up in the church and, for as long as he remembered, he was told tales of angels and demons. He was told of good and evil. And, most of all, he was told about the Exorcists who helped the side of angels to fight the evil in the world. They way they told him the stories, Alfred believed they were heroes. He looked up to them, respected them - and wanted to be them. So, he grew up and studied the Scriptures (though he would often fall asleep whilst reading them) and practiced demon-vanquishing techniques (mostly ran around in a cape). Once he turned 18, however, he was accepted as an Exorcist - his interest had paid off. At first he was a novice, learning what to do, taking on low-level demons. Then, finally, he became a Junior Exorcist. Once the Truce was over, he'd be going on his first mission. He was so excited, he could hardly stay still, rising from his seated position and looking out the window before returning to his things and making sure everything he needed was accounted for. He wasn't aware he didn't need these weapons, though - for he had powers of his own that he was yet to discover... - OOC:
I think I said that Alfie didn't know he was a Nephilim? I've decided, instead, whilst writing this post, that he knows who is parents are but isn't aware of Nephilims (the church decided to keep him in the dark in case he started using them too much, etc.). So he doesn't know that he is one...

| Matt woke up in the basement of his mother's house. The bitch was cranky and he'd taken to cooping himself up in the dark confines of the lower floor. It also meant he wouldn't sustain any more injuries to explain at work when she got drunk. She was a horrible drunk. That was how she'd managed to give birth to a Cambion. She had gotten drunk, got together with a demon, and got pregnant. On his eighteenth birthday, a demon, his father, had appeared and explained all about him. His mother nearly had a fit when she laid eyes on him and splashed him with holy water - she'd gotten it from the church after Matt was born in case the demon ever came back. His father had never returned after that. He'd left a note that he'd wait till his mother was dead until he returned. Matt often wondered if he wanted him to kill her. However, he was the Cambion embodiment of a sloth, more or less, refusing to kill her out of laziness. Finally, he had brought this life upon himself: a worker in a dead-end job at a supermarket and hiding away in a dark room from his mother. He looked at the calendar on the table beside the digital clock. It was almost time. Almost time for his mother to start screaming at him to get out of bed. Almost time for his sucky day to start... - OOC:
I've decided Matt was told he's a Cambion and his powers were mentioned but he doesn't care. He wasn't told about the Truce, though.
Oh, by the way, how long is it between each truce?

The truce can be made at any time, but since it is difficult for the angels and demons to come to agreements, they often don'tmake a truce unless it's desperately needed. Oh, and the truce not only slightly affects the Nephilim but the Cambions as well.
Cvetka let out a tiny whine of annoyance as the laughter started to bubble past the Croatian's lips downstairs. She grimaced as she slid her legs off of her bed and walked across the room. From their, she grasped the broom and knocked the end without bristles against the floor, sending her annoyance to him clearly without waking up or irritating her own neighbors living beside her. Honestly, it was unnecassary for him to be starting this up at such a late (or not so late) hour.

| Ulrik wandered down the street. There was no one else on the street, an obvious things since it was raining cats and dogs. The sound of rain was much more welcoming to the demon than a crowd of humans could ever be. Cars kept the block alive though. They drove by, keeping the pulse in the street going. Every time he thought he was all alone a car would come rushing from around a corner and splash water from the puddles in the street. Each time he yelled at the driver in disgust, but to no avail. Ulrik just kept going down the sidewalk aimlessly, with no destination. He didn't know why he decided to come up. To the human world I mean, especially in the rain. He had to keep his wings tight against his back, under his clothes, so they wouldn't be noticeable. And there was always a chance of an exorcist or angel around. He didn't want any trouble, he just wanted to walk around. Which was strange for him, being a demon with the sin of Sloth. He never had any motivation to do anything. Even when The Big Man told him to work. It takes him a long while to actually start the job. Looking down at his feet as he shuffled on, Ulrik stopped at a street corner. He tried to think. But he couldn't gather any thoughts together. So he just crossed the street and turned down another street, to continue blankly. - ooc:
*den gisp* Ulrik is Matt's father! //shot//

XD Hey, it could be possible!
The brunette snapped into attention when he heard the pounding coming from above and a humorless laugh bubbled from his throat. So she hadn't given in and just let him be yet, has she? Dražen sat up, leaning his back against the wall as he unlaced one of his shoes and slipped it off before throwing it back up towards the ceiling, Although the thump it created was soft, it satisfied the brunette. - OOC:

| As the angel flew, he could sense that something was indeed stirring again. With a sigh, he landed in the garden. Kaito's large white wings vanishing as he walked over to Kyoka. Looking around, he could tell that she was alone again. Putting his hand on the back of his neck, Kaito smiled. "Perhaps we could go sight seeing a bit?" He asked, though it would be more than that. He was needed on Earth to watch the demons before the truce was over. Knowing that the angels and exorcists in the human world would need a good healer, Kai had agreed with his superiors to take his twin sister Kyoka with him. The thought troubled him but he pushed the thoughts aside and hid it with a smile. Holding out his hand to her, he gave his best smile, hiding his pessimistic thoughts that kept nagging him. "Come along Kyo-chan, it's time to stretch you wings a bit~" Kaito spoke softly. - OOC:
I don't know what to do with Kyo and Kai, so I guess they'll be like..."boarder patrol" or something. XD

| Al had no idea what he was doing. Popping his joints with satisfying crack, he stared out the window into the dismal street. Rain poured down in sheets, shrouding the city in a somber grey and causing his bones to ache. However, the fallen angel enjoyed these days. The sun didn't beat down upon him and impose upon his vision, and it was almost as if he was human on days like these. His flames would be immediately extinguished if he used them, and the sun was not present to provide him with the amount of power he typically wielded. He opened his laptop and stared at the screen with a blank expression for a while. All of those people out there were so lucky. They didn't have to worry about things like "The Truce" or hiding their wings or being kicked out of heaven by all the other angels just because you showed a particular obsession with humans. It's not like he was doing anyone any harm, but those were the rules. And no one questions the rules. Even Al, who considered himself to be somewhat of a rebel, knew better than to defy rules like these. Of course, he felt as if he shouldn't be bound by such asinine things in the first place, which is why he yearned to become a human. They were free from the strict discipline and vows of the angel, unless they chose. Humans had choices, but angels always have to follow the rules. Sighing, Al shut his laptop and stared out the window again. He was hoping it would be another boring day, but the Truce was ending and he had a feeling things were about to get much worse. - OOC:
I actually don't know if it's the truce or not, but I'm assuming it is. If it's not, I'll edit it.
I was sort of rambling and wanted to get this over with, but I still need to do ones for Spain and Khloe.

*is adding Changs intro before the actions starts* Oh, and Chang is a Cambion of Pride.
Chang leaned against the wall of the bus stop's shelter, twitching at the sound of raindrops splattering the little roof. He didn't bother sitting down as he waited for the bus. For there was a woman there with him. She sat neatly on the bench, her face caked with makeup, her hair pinned and sprayed into the perfect shape, the bag at her side obviously bulged due to piles of cosmetics. Vanity, that was her sin. Point is, Chang was disgusted by her. He hated being around someone so vain. Especially a human. Chang was a half-human, half-demon representation of Pride. And he sure was proud of that. Chang first found out when he hit 21 (which he decked his father for). His human father told him that when he met his mother, he thought she was just another prostitute on the street. But she was different, more irresistible. Together they had Chang, she spent her nine months with his father. When Chang was born, that's when she told his father that she was a demon of Lust, and she disappeared. She wasn't seen since. Chang didn't care about that though, he was a Cambion, and that meant better than any lowly human. The bus pulled up to the stop, and returned Chang from his thoughts and back to the dull, rainy human world. Three people got off, and Chang and the woman boarded. After counting his change to pay, he went to sit down. A few passengers looked up at Chang like he was an ordinary man. Most didn't look up at all. The Chinese Cambion narrowed his eyes at them in hatred for treating him like an equal human. Sitting down, Chang looked out the window dripping with rain. |

| Leaning against the brick building of a liquor and cigarette shop, the raven haired woman puffed on her cigarette. Her crimson eyes watching the people as they passed by. 'You poor damn baka's.' She thought, her hair collecting drops of rain as it fell from the grey clouds above.
Looking up, as if trying to peer into heaven, Kiki frowned. Perhaps this was where she belonged for committing her sin. But was it really such a sin? "Heh." She smirked, taking the last drag before toss the cigarette into the water on the side of the street, watching it go down the drain to the sewer.
The sewer. That's what this town was turning out to be. With demons and fallen angels lurking around every corner. Kiki pushed off the building and began to walk the streets in the rain, a sneer on her face. She so wanted to get back at the Big Man for punishing her for wanting to love and be friend. Looking around at the humans, they didn't know how good they had it.
But in Kiki's mind, she envied them for their freedom. Something she had now, but at a price. Brushing her hair out of her face, she walked into a cafe, ordering herself a strong cup of coffee. She hadn't been treated as nice as some humans, even having to sell herself multiple times before she decided to steal money instead of earning it. It was a hard and rough life in this town. And as she peered into the cup of black coffee, she wondered if it was really worth it now.

| Kyoka looked at her elder twin's hand before taking it. Standing up she glanced up at the tree she has been sitting under. The cherry blossoms falling to the ground as the wind blew gently. It reminded her that everything eventually came to an end and that everyone will die eventually. But she wanted to help the humans and to try to change the darkness in their hearts and help heal those that were broken.
But with this mission, she was well aware there would be fighting. Taking in a deep breath, Kyoka gave a firm nod and decided to make the journey with Kaito to the human world. She pondered on what misfortunes would await them when the truce was over. But there was no point in dwelling on the future when it was all an uncertainty. There was a task at hand and that was task was to help and heal and complete her mission to defeat the demons. Her faith could no be shaken.
Standing on the street, Kyoka glanced around at the filth of the city. Grimacing at the people that lay in rags in the alleyways. How could He have let things get so out of hand? Looking around worriedly, Kyo tried to believe that there was still hope for mankind.

| Ulrik kept on moving throughout the city. Taking a left here, turning right there, going straight at this intersection. He kept himself moving, trying to avoid his sluggish nature for once. It was hard for him, he kept wanting to sit down and rest at a bus stop, so the long metal machine could take him around the city instead. But no. He stayed on foot, where he could be alone.
Ultimately he avoided crowded streets, taking back alleyways as a detour or scenic route. He didn't want the rush of a crowd. It would tease his demonic instincts. That was something he couldn't give into at the moment with the issue of the Truce and all. It was risky for him to go up to the human world. But that was the easiest way to get time to himself. The seductive Lustful demons were always bugging him for action, and the Wrathful ones wouldn't stop yelling at him to get off his lazy *ss and do something worth while. Ulrik couldn't take there bothersome presence at the moment.
He turned left into an alleyway instinctually, he had already take three rights, and another would put him back where he started. A man that sat there in worn out clothes asked if he could spare a dollar. Ulrik shook his head and turned his pockets inside out. They were empty. Downstairs there was no need for money, the demons just took things. Urik didn't feel sorry for the man, sure he was living in horrible conditions. But if he kept away from sins, he'd be having it good Upstairs when his time was up. As Ulrik thought about that his pace slowed. Soon disgusted by the thought of Angels living it up, he pressed on endlessly.
He stepped out of the alleyway, he did plan to keep going straight to the back alley across the street. But as he stepped off the curb to cross the street, two people appeared. A male and female, they resembled each other greatly, they both had raven black hair, and had that pure air to them. Ulrik's eyes went wide, and he quickly stepped back to the shadows, which swallowed him whole, making him barely visible. He hoped they hadn't noticed him. Lort! Two people appearing out of nowhere, and such a pure aura to them. They were Angels, weren't they? It could also be the demon's laziness that caused him to not notice them until now, but he wasn't taking any chances. |

| Glancing around, studying the are, Kaito's usually cheerful expression turned into a sour look. His green eyes looked into the direction of the shadows of an alley. His eyes seeing the figure pull back. With a sigh, the male angel put a hand on Kyoka's back and gently guided her along the sidewalk.
The truce was still in effect and he had no intention of being the one to break it. Plus there were other factors that he was concerned about. The human lives that would be taken if there turned out to be a fight amongst demons and angels in such a setting. Then the factor that Kyoka was not an angel of fighting. Kaito smiled, hiding his thoughts and feelings as they walked to the nearest sanctuary.
He had his orders to kill demons and the hybrids on earth. These orders coming from his superiors that had been passed down from the Big Man. Kaito was well aware that these decisions were final. But he wasn't fond of killing hybrids, especially angel and human children. Looking around as they walked, the angel of wind wondered if they would encounter the fallen angels that lurked here like rats in a sewer.

Cvetka heard the soft thump created by the Croatian throwing his shoe at the ceiling, or rather, her floor, but ignored it. He'd only get more irritating if she allowed him to bloom by providing more attention. The brunette left the broom leaning against the wall before going over to the window still and sitting on it, looking down on the city beneath her. Down below on the streets she saw an indentical looking pair of ravenettes passing by, one male and one female. She watched them walk by, somewhat interested, as if they were silently beckoning or calling out to her.
